PLEASE DONT MOVE HERE, READ ALL THE REVIEWS ON THIS PAGE... TRUST ME, I AM FOREWARINING ALL, THESE PEOPLE ARE A SCAM. I POSTED PHOTOS OF MY APT B4 I LEFT... THE DOOR TOOK A WEEK 2 FIX AMONG OTHER THINGS... PLEASE I WOULDNT RECOMMEND HOMELESS PEOPLE TO LIVE HERE.. IAM NOT JOKING..HERE ARE A FEW OF MAY PROBLEMS:
1.) Prior to moving here, you cannot see your apt., they say that "it's not ready" & intead show you a model apt. which they glamored up to trick you.
2.) ALL units are the same size (one bedrooms only) and yet everyone is paying different prices.( from $545-$740)
a.) The illegal aliens & criminals pay less than you.
b.) I believe that they might even give an apt to an sexual predator as long as he gives them money.
3.) when there is a maintance issue, It took them atleast 7 months to give me a new fridge due to a bad leak.
4.) my air conditon was broken like several times thru the summer, while I was pregnant.
5.)The Pest Control Man came to do his job when ever pleased.( I had service about 4x out of 12 months I been here.)
6.) I had Mold under the Sink in two places!
7.) my living room walls were all distored due to the last hurricane and if you were to pull out that wall you would see a ---- load of mold & mildew! Their response was that all the walls was like that, but i had a neighbor who lived on the oppisite side of me and her apt walls were almost brand new & she paid much less then I.
8.) The pool is nasty as hell.( i found out after spending the summer there, that they dont actually clean it properly & it has a bad leak as well.)
9.) I have complained about my former neigbours playing music on a weekday until 4am in morning.(but since they were good friends with them, i believed they did nothing about it.)
10.) The Laundry area is distarous. THE MACHINES NEVER WORK, THE DRYER BARLEY DRYS. I fell one time and sprained my wrist due to a bad leak in one the washer. ( this happened two weeks after I just gave birth to my child.)
11.) THERES NO CLUBHOUSE... THEY LIED.
12.) they reycle locks....

I AM NOT HERE TO SLANDER. IAM HERE TO EXPOSE THE TRUTH AND AS YOU CAN SEE I HAVE PHOTOS TO PROVE.

Wow, how eloquently put. I must take a moment applaud you for your futile attempts to salvage any positive reputation the property may have left. Why are you feeling so Baffled? Is it because I am disrobing a wolf in sheep clothing? If anyone should feel baffled it is the People who had live in such conditions like mines. Given a False Impression by being showed a cozy well maintained MODEL unit and left bamboozled, Yes BAMBOOZLED! Now Let me rummage and clarify these Tall Tales. 1.) So What if you where I am at? what are you planning to do? I sense that is some sort of threat. If so, Please feel free to act upon it. Cause you don't strike fear in my heart. a.) your not mind readers, I agree. But I mean how many times must an individual call the office or show up to make a complaint? Yes, I mean things do break and they require fixing. But, I mean if it's not the A/C it is one of the outlets and if not that it always something else. C'mon! 2.) I did not EXPECT a Brand new luxury apt. But Then where shall my expectation lie when I am shown a beautiful well put MODEL apt. Free of Warped walls & Water damage. I DID ask you to see my apt and you respond: ITS NOT READY. That seems to be your response to alot of past tenants when they ask the same question. Probably will be to Future Tenants as well. 3.) yes i did get month free! but so did everyone else! but not everyone else is paying what I was paying! I moved into an apt with a broke fridge and it took until the summer to finally address the issue! yes it took 2 days to get a new one. but looks how long i was addressing the issue for! 4.) The A/C HAS BEEN BROKEN ABOUT SEVERAL TIMES THROUGH OUT MY RESIDENCY! ( and whether it was hot or not!) My son was ill & was sweating and If you so well informed about your own property you should know that MOLD & MILDEW THRIVE ON HEAT/HUMIDITY DUE TO THE FACT ITS FLORIDA! READ YOUR OWN LEASE IT EVEN STATES IT THAT YOU SHOULD KEEP YOUR A/C ON/OR OPEN AN WINDOW (WHICH I DID) TO PREVENT MOLD & MILDEW. SIMPLE EQUATION: Indoor environment (food) moisture = mold growth 5.) pest control guy came when he desired! and NO there was ONLY ONE occasion where I asked him to come back later! ( that was because I was VOMITING cause I was 3 months Pregnant!) so don't flip the statement into making it to your best interest! And also to add on that note, yes I did not have a roach problem but you must take preventive measures. LIKE GET PEST CONTROL TO SPRAY YOUR UNIT. 6.) Regarding the fact of the "gentleman" living with me, I went to the Office back in April to seek an application for him and you YOURSELF stated: "Don't Worry about it" and graced me with that fraudulent smile of yours. YOU can deny it, state it was never said but YOU & I both know that is the TRUTH and shall remain as that! 7.) The paper we have to fill out to inspect-the apt, we have to give it in 24 hours! and at the time I was not aware that my Outside walls were engulf with Mold & Mildew. One of My Living room outlets wasn't working. ( it's like you get a used car and everything is working fine until the car starts acting up.)I never had to live in such conditions and I am from the Projects in Brooklyn! a.) Yeah you do know what Neighbors I am talking about. Because when I complained about their partying with the door open! YOU told me there was nothing you can do and to call the cops. Is it not stated in your Lease that it is Noise Disturbance and No noise like Parties after 11pm? 8.) i complained about the MOLD & MILDEW ISSUE FROM THE START. HOW AREN'T YOU GOING TO KNOW THERE IS NO MOLD& MILDEW IN THAT UNIT..( you been working there long enough to know)LOOK AT THE OUTSIDE WALLS. LOOK AT THE WALLS IN THE APT, LOOK AT THE OUTLET IN THE LIVING ROOM. COMMON SENSE. ITS OBVIOUS A HURRICANE TORE THAT WALL UP INTO A MESS. b.) how about when my door shattered and I was shunned away and told that there was nothing you or the Other "Manager" can do, that you suggested that I called the Sheriff Office. (which I happily Did) And him, himself stated that the door shattared due to rotted wood from past hurricanes and Funnily, The Other Manager tried to disputed with the Officer. He spoke to me and her explained it clearly. Took you ALMOST A week to FIX my Door. ANYONE could of easily broken in. c.) The recycle locks statement.. that was something told to me by someone who works for another one of your properties. So there may not be some TRUTH to that due to lack of evidence. 9.) I am surprised you are not disputing my sprained wrist that occurred at the laundry facilities. ( I loved how you guys cleaned up the cob webs, placed a rug and even invested in a camera after I contact Channel Nine News, Sound Like someone trying to sweep deception under the rug. NO PUN intended!) a.) Clubhouse? Oh you mean the room next the office Where I always catch workers hanging out? Ah, yes I should go Hang out with you guys and chat up a bit how wonderfully well kept the apartments are. Even Better, I should even invite you to dinner and offer you a plate mold & mildew, because for the last 365 days that is what my lungs have been infested with. 10.) Lastly, YOU BANGED ON MY DOOR LIKE YOU WERE THE SWAT TEAM, STARLING MY CHILD FROM SLUMBER. YES I DID CONTACT THE MUCKRAKERS! A.K.A CHANNEL NINE CAUSE I HAD ENOUGH. EVERYONE ELSE IS AFRIAD TO SPEAK UP CASUE THEY ARE EITHER FORMER CRIMINALS, IMMIGRANTS WHO DONT WANT TO BE SHIP BACK TO THEIR COUNTRY OR PLAIN AND SIMPLE SCARED OF BEING TERMINATED FOR NO REASON. WELL GUESS WHAT THEY HAVE RIGHTS. AND YES AGAIN.. I DID TELL THEM ABOUT THE ISSUES I WAS HAVING. I NEVER SAID, I REPEAT N-E-V-E-R SAID "you did have a mold & mildew problem because your a/c was not working." but thank you for bringing up that point. 'casue you just proved me right that you flip the truth. PS here my letter to MR SUSSI.. Dear Mr. Sussi, I've been immensely enraged for the past 11 months I been residing at ADDISON PLACE APARTMENTS (formerly University Villas) I been having issues with my Living conditions and the injustices I been given. For one, mold & mildew issues in my living room (due to the hurricanes) and kitchen area( due to a leak from a pipe I believe.), rotted wood, Air conditioner always broken. I have a 3 month old son and while i was pregnant had to suffer in the heat, due to the fact that they chose to snub my request to get my A/C repaired. It took them 7 months to give me a new fridge, that has been leaking since day ONE. Prior to moving into your unit, you are not allowed to see your apt. The Frame of my door shattared & it took them almost a week to get it fixed.(even then they did not fix it properly.) I tried to speaking someone in The Heath Dept. to investigate but they said it would cost me money, I don't have.Now that my lease is up on Feb. 28th, I want to expose them for who they truly are. I feel that NO ONE should be living under these kind of conditions. NO ONE. Thank you. P.S.S. I do have something interestingly positive to say. Thank you with utter sincerity! If it wasn't for YOUR trickery, I would not been as informed as I am today. YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY: "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!" SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU ADDISON PLACE!

FYI: I AM NOT RESIDENT NOR HAVE EVER BEEN A RESIDENT OF ADDISON PLACE. BUT I HAD A COUPLE OF FRIENDS WHO HAVE RESIDED THERE AND THEY ALSO STATED SIMILAR OCCURRENCES. SLANDER is the communication of a statement that makes a false claim, expressively stated or implied to be factual, that may harm the reputation of an individual, business, product, group, government or nation. ( I don't see anything the original Poster stated to be "slanderous' in anyway. it is quite obvious this person has posted photos to prove their claim.)-- And to that GOOD LUCK

As a resident of one year at Addison place apartments i must say that i have no complaints and living in an older property there is going to be problems but every time there is a problem no matter if it is 7 in the morning or 12 at night the managment team is always there to fix the issue promptly. After living in the Arbors for four year and compareing pricing on 1 bedroom in the east orlando area i must say that when is comes to value Addison place shines above the rest.

In response to your comments, we are a little confused about you comments. We do not show propective residents apartments that are not completed. The model apartment has not been rented in 16 years, so there would not be wear & tear like you would expect in apartment's someone has lived in for years. Your movein inspection report does not show any items other than the walls are not perfect.Keep in mind the property is 35 years old there will be normal wear and tear. If you expected a brand new apartment you should have moved into a brand new luxury apartment where you would be paying double the amount you are paying here. Yes the rent amounts due flucate with change, some have rental furniture some may receive the first month's rent free-(as you did) and some people pro-rate that month free to reduce their monthly rent amount. We complete the same criminal/credit/employment/rental history on anyone that applies to Addison Place. If there are illegal aliens, and criminals we are not aware of who they are. I must say that YOU have a gentlemen living in your apartment that has never completed an application. When you came in you said you were the only one living in the apartment. Regarding your refrigerator it only took a day or two to order a new refrigerator for you. Yes maintenance did try to repair the problem at first, but we had to order a new one. You told me and maintenance that your understood we had to order a new one and you said that is fine with me.Your a/c unit was repaired when you let us know, again - if you did not let us know prior to this time-we are not mind readers.Your a/c unit was replaced within 2-days and I must add it was not HOT outside at the time. I spoke with the pest control man and he said you would turn him away-you were sleeping and did not have any problems.You never complained about any MOLD!! or your walls. We are not sure what neighbors you complained about-and no we are not friends with our residents-only on a professional level.The pool is cleaned (2) times weekly and inspected by the healh department. Yes we have a clubhouse if you would like to come by and watch TV come on over. WE NEVER HAVE RECYCLED LOCKS. When we came over to talk to you about the letter to channel 9 you claimed that you never made a complaint about mold or mildew in your apartment. We spoke to channel 9 and they read the letter you wrote that stated you did have a mold & mildew problem because your a/c was not working. I'm sorry I did not mention your wrist, I was concerned if you were hurt and I asked you if you were ok and you said you were fine. I would be concerned if any of our residents were hurt.When you move out in (2) weeks I hope you move into a BRAND NEW apartment that no one has NEVER lived in to make you happy. I'm sorry you were not happy with your stay at Addison Place and as you move into your new apartment I hope you will stop slandering us on this site. Remember there are two sides to every story and this is why I responded to your accuations.

Promptly? when? Two weeks Later? Ha Ha. Geez, what a bunch Hoopla! When I had a bad ceiling leak whenever the resident upstairs took a bath or flush the toilet it took you fools ( i know it was the manager writing that review) 2 weeks to finally freakin' fix it. Pathetic. Truly Pathetic.
