I think the Alexandria staff wrote those two positive reviews. The parking and security issues are terrible here. Nothing has changed since the construction was finished. The staff did fianlly tell the off duty sherrif's offer who lives here to stop putting stickers on my car when I had to park on the curb due to the severe shortage of parking, but when a new officer moved in we had to go through the whole thing again.

Also of late someone in the building next to us has taken to pulling the fire alarms at 4 AM in the morning. It takes upwards of fifteen minutes to get them turned off. The alarms are earsplitting. There's no rolling over, going back to sleep, and ignoring them. There are so many drunken parties going on around here that things like this shouldn't surprise us.

I used to feel pretty safe walking my dog at night here (in spite of the car break ins) but recently I was followed by a really drunk guy who wouldn't leave me alone until my dog snarled at him. If the reviewer who said they feel safe here is for real, I hope they read this and take precautrions before walking around here late at night.
