Complex reasonably attractive, but in a ghetto of a neighborhood. Nearest stores are multiple pawn shops, liquor stores, strip clubs. Took maintenance 3 trips to fix my broken down old dishwasher. Laundry rooms typically have 25-33% of washing machines not working, and are never fixed; they also don't put signs on them warning you which ones are broken. Have security gates, but they are often stuck open. Have security cameras, but turn them off at night! Why' Because they have gates, so they don't need to turn on the cameras. A neighbor told me that in the month before I moved in, 6 people had their cars stolen, hers included. She told management about it, and asked if they had the security tape, and of course they didn't because they turn the cameras off after dark--when all the cars were stolen. Swimming pools are kids' wading pools, with a max depth of 4'. Numerous plumbing problems. Manager of property is VERY condescending, spoke to me though I had dropped out of high school (I'm a college graduate). Neighborhood is drug infested. Lots of 19-year-olds slouched in their seats, hat on sideways, gold chains dangling, driving $80,000 Mercedes. No lights in living room or bedroom. Electrical problems. My car damaged by neigbors who don't respect private property. Fitness center often has broken equipment. People from the neighborhood go the the fitness center and lounge on the equipment to watch BET (and only BET)on the tv. Subwoofers in passing cars in the parking lot have literally rattled my windows. I think the problems exist more as a result of the neighborhood, not the apartments. Go somewhere else.
