I moved in to Andover in July of 2008. We saw our apartment and were horrified at what we saw but on a budget and needing a place right away gave us little choice but the complex promised to have everything fix. As usual we had our list of thing in the apartment that needed to be fixed. (The apartment was not even up to State or Federal Code) First off maintance walked the apartment with us to see what we wanted to be fix and what we wanted o just be noted on the lease to damage before we moved in. Because I risk sounding redundant I am only going to tell you about two rooms but problems similar can be found through out the entire apartment.

The Kitchen we came into the kitchen and found a convenient card saying that pest control guy had been there the previous day. Ok...Cool but then we saw a couple bug and figured they were coming out because the resent spraying. Well after a night in the apartment we wake up to turn the lights on and fine an abundant amount of very lively roaches just "hanging out" in our kitchen on the counter and wall. The bug man "came" several once a week, every week and left his convenient little card on the counter every time but never came while someone was home. Keep in mind there is only maybe two hours of the day that someone was not home. The GFI switch in the kitchen was ripped from the wall and had bugs living in it. Afraid to keep dishes in the kitchen we resorted to keep them in our walk in closet. In need out a location to put a microwave we put it in the kitchen but only to come to fine roaches nesting inside of it. Also who ever lived there prior to us cause all the pressed wood cabinets to grow mold. Maintaince too a razor blade to it and cutout all the swelled pressed wood and said problem solved. WHAT ABOTU THE MOLD? The paint is chipping off EVERYWHERE! Also every outlet located in the kitchen was loose. The appliances in the model are about 20 years newer then what actually comes in the kitchen. Maintence told us they would be back tomorrow to finish this and that up but never came back.

The Master bedroom the door to the patio had a large enough gap to slide my entire hand out of. The Carpet has obvious and ugly seems. Over half of the outlets in the room do not work. I live on the three floor and can clearly hear neighbors under me and all around! My neighbor down stairs runs on her treadmill at like 6 am and it sound like big foot on the roof. The paint is chipping off EVERYWHERE also! You brush against a wall and your carpet looks like it has snowed within your apartment.

Overall many of the neighbors like to blast loud music at night and security doesn't have gate keys to get into complex at night so they wait for a resident to go in for them to follow through. They recently reprogrammed the gate and now that is no emergency response is available. When you have family visit security will give you the third degree about which you have stay in your apartment. Who cares...? I pay the rent.

In the end you simply don't want to go home at the end of your day because home is a filthy bug investment mess. It is loud and in a very crime filled neighborhood. My sister was living with me and was on the lease. Her car was parked next to a car that was being repo-ed and they back the tow truck into her car and left her to come out and find it in the morning.

If you enjoy bugs, and hearing your neighbors daily life as well as people damaging your car and not telling you...then this might be your place.

To be honest this is only a start. This review could go on forever.
