I've been living in this community for 4 years now and I love it!!!
The office staff is extremely friendly... they always greet me by my first name. The gates have only been down twice after struck with lightning and a part had to be replaced. When I went to the office to report it they said the part was already ordered and should arrive within 3-5 days. Three days later the gates were fixed. And... they do enforce the policies. I was having trouble with my trash bin being broken and they had it replace the same night after I called it in. I also had people put trash in my bins that did not belong to me and after being reported the office sent out a letter to everyone in the builduing. I had kids, unsupervised, running around the stairs where I live and after I reported it to the office, the next day a letter was sent out to everyone in my builduing. All this has occured during the years I've lived here and the office staff's consistency has made it a pleasure for me to call this place home. The letters although not directed to anyone in specific have significantly reduced any troubles... :)
When my visitors come over they always brag about how lovely the grounds look. This makes me feel very honor to be part of such a great community...
I hope I am able to help you make a sound decision...
Thank you Arbors for all you do...
From another of your HAPPY :o) residents.

maybe things have changed since I was there..... but in 2004/2005 the staff didn't know my name and also told me " I would be sorry " for moving out to another apartment! Enforcing rules? How about a resident who owned 2 garages and wouldnt let his wife park in either spot and most nights he parked in a handicapped spot(without a tag) and usually parked crooked to save the spot for his wife! When I told the office they sympathized with me and proceded to do nothing. I honestly wouldn't have cared about the parking if I didn't have to walk 1/2 mile (literally, i clocked it)through a dark parking lot with KNOWN theft.

janelis1 - gates were closed 99.8% of the time...really? And how did you calculate the 99.8%? Not 99%...not 100%...not 99.5%...not even 99.9%...how did you calculate 99.8 %? Here's a tip...if you want to be credible then make sense.

That's funny, I'm probably one of the people's children who you tattled on. The kids have no place to play here. There is no playground. We were told specifically to have the kids play in the courtyard and still people complained. What are we supposed to do? Keep our kids cooped up inside? Not let them play with the other neighborhood kids? We pay $1100 a month for rent and our kids can't even play outside?!?! If you didn't want to hear kids, you shouldn't have moved into an apartment. As for the gates, I've been here for 14 months (moving out in two weeks, thank God!!!) and the gates have been broken at least four times. I'm tired of hearing of apartments being broken into, our truck was broken into, my father in law came to visit and HIS truck was broken into, and I'm tired of tattle tale neighbors hating on the kids who just want to have fun.
