when we arrived to our apartment...we were greeted with the wrong floor plan. they promised us the upgraded unit with stainless steel appliances. when we did a walk through..half the knobs were falling off the cupboards...the a/c did not work, and the paint job was horrible.
they finally switched us to a new apartment when i threated to seek legal means, because we had signed a lease for a new upgraded apartment. this finally got us into the apartment we signed on the dotted line for.
however, we ended up having to pay extra and sign a whole new lease, because of their mistake.
we had non stop issues with the staff. they are very rude, and love to speak spanish if they think you cant understand it. doris the manager is very rude and always puts you off on one of her other staff members. oh, and dont expect your deposit back at move out..no matter how clean your place is. Yes, all of our door knobs fell off. This was one thing they did NOT upgrade and they are of VERY low quality. When we moved in our A/C did not work either, but maintanace was up to fix it in less than 20 minutes because it was more than 80 degrees outside and that is a stipulation of the lease, citing it as "emergency repair". They will get every penny out of you as they can, even through their own mistakes. However, we got our deposit back even though we trashed the carpet. (Not entirely our fault though, the carpet is so cheap that WATER stains it).

I guess the knobs were the only thing that didn't break in our apartment. The AC broke twice. The second time it broke on a Saturday and parts had to be ordered which didn't arrive until that Tuesday and it was 90 outside. They gave us the stupid portable unit for one room which did nothing but run up our electricity bill. Oh, and I was wondering about that carpet, it was horrible.
