You guys won't believe this, but I swear it's true.

I had started to move out early of my apartment @ the Arbors around 2 months before the end of my lease because I had found a great home in Winter Park for immediate move-in and couldn't pass it up. Of course, I continued to pay my rent for my apartment because I didn't want to break my lease and didn't want bad credit, and of course, I notified them of this.

So, I go to my apartment about once a week to get a carload of stuff and to check my mail and so forth. I had everything totally moved out of the apartment except for 3 Television sets and a very nice glass Chess set that I had received as a gift.

So, one day, I go back about 5-weeks before my lease is up.

I checked my mail and thought it was really weird that it was empty... I hadn't checked it in a week!

So I go up to my apartment, stick my key in the door, unlock it, and walk in. I look up, and what do you know'' Someone else is living in my apartment!!! There's new furniture everywhere, totally decked out! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! Luckily, there was no one home at the time because I could've been shot or hit with a baseball bat or whatever the hell else you would do if a total stranger walked into your brand-new place. I walked around looking for my TV'S and chess set but they were gone!!!

AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN CHANGE THE LOCKS!! Hell, they NEVER EVEN CALLED ME!!!! I had the phone number transferred to my new place, so I -KNOW- they never even attempted to let me know.

The worst part is that I had PAID MY RENT FOR THAT MONTH IN FULL!!! AND THEY WENT AND RENTED IT OUT FROM UNDERNEATH ME!!

The management wrote it off as some kind of "mistake" and had my 3 TV's in some storage area, with no sign of my chess set, lost forever. I made them refund my RENT for that month, and they sent me on my way, but here's the part you'll never believe.

THEY DIDN'T EVEN ASK FOR THE KEYS BACK!!!! THAT'S RIGHT!! I TOLD THEM THAT I HAD JUST USED MY KEYS TO WALK INTO WHAT WAS THEN SOMEONE ELSES APT. AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN ASK FOR THE KEYS!! Not to mention the mail key or the gate-access card.

If I were an evil man, I would have robbed that place blind. But I'm not, and I threw the keys away, but still... Just want you to know that if this happened to me, there's probably a few other people out there walking around with key's to YOUR APT @ Maitland Summit!

I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY DIDN'T CHANGE THE LOCKS!
