I am an area native and have not lived here. After reading many comments about mold I just want to warn that the Jefferson at Maitland next door was condemned because of black mold many years ago. Everyone was asked to leave, so they could tear down the majority of it to rebuild. They have reopened as new, but the fact remains that both complexes were built on swampland. Beware of possible health issues related to black mold, as some past residents of Jefferson at Maitland became very sick.

Fact of the matter is that there is mold throughout Florida. Being built on swamp land has no bearing on mold growth if the building is properly maintained!
