I have lived in the Phase II apartments for almost 6 months now. I've read the reviews and I think that the reviewers are being overly critical. The neighborhood offers great amenities...even FREE workout classes M-Th with a personal trainer! The gym equipment is better than most apartment complexes. The gardens are well maintained. I think any apartment with thousands of tenants is bound to have roaches (especially in FL) and a host of other issues. If you can't handle it, move to the suburbs or buy a house in a home owner association neighborhood! The floor plan is open and spacious. I wish they had screens on the patios, but I just bought a bug zapper and it works. I remember when this apartment was literally a swamp, so I'd be pretty stupid to complain about bugs since this area is A SWAMP. Overall, this complex delivers what you'd expect to get in this region for the price.

I'm sorry, did you grow up in East St. Louis? People getting gunned down in your complex is WAY more of a concern than a "FREE" personal trainer, you moron! And I think most people renting an apartment can't afford the nice home in the suburbs with the HOA. The fact that they built the place on a SWAMP isn't exactly in the brochure, either.... but the gardens are just lovely. Idiot.

Yeah, but alot of apartments are unsafe and Maitland is a great area. I've lived in alot of apartments before and the Arbors is the best so far. I lived in an area where my husband did not want me to go outside by myself. This is a great complex and a good price with a ridiculous amount of amenities. There might be problems here but these issues happen everywhere.
