I also have lived here for over a year now, and marking the days off my calendar until my lease is up. I am a professional (Nurse) in the area and I will break down for you the issues I've had. A lot of travel nurse agencies try to put nurses here so I've hope you read this first if you are a nurse or any professional.
The apartments are old but the paint them, lay cheap rugs that split after a few months (see below), put fake plastic tile, and cover the holes with spackle just to get you in. The shabby repairs start to fall apart quickly.
1. NOISE..The apartment walls and floors are made of thin rotting sheeting. You can hear upstairs tenants breathing and you know exactly where they're standing. When they walk it sounds like an earthquake and the windows shake (in my case they rented to a couple with a 4 year old who seems to chase a mouse from room to room ALL day), FORGET resting after a 12 hour shift. As soon as 1 person takes one step, qadult or child, you're awake for good. Bose noise canceling headphones may work for now but you will still feel the vibration. The management does nothing to screen tenants other than credit. If you have ok or no credit, your in. Kids on top floors are fine with them, its just more money. Why not put children on 1st floor apartments' Complaints fall on deaf ears, and office staff turn over quickly. Oh yes, another thing about noise, if I can hear everything upstairs and downstairs is saying when they talk softly, think hard if your moving in with a partner!!
2. NO SECURITY. People drive in from outside, homeless walk in and bath in the Jacuzzi, tenants let their dogs swim in the pool. I even found meds missing, just so happens maintenance was in my apartment earlier. Cant prove it then, had no nanny cam so Im not saying they took anything.
3. TRY to get them to fix something' Ha ha ha . You get the "A work order is in, we'll get on it right away!" The first time, the second time (days later) you get, "oh it must have gotten lost, Ill call maintenance right away". After you go to the office screaming, call Zom property Administration 1950 Summit Park Dr # 300, Orlando, FL 32810 407 644-6300, THEN it gets done.
4. FORGET this place and move on with your search Nurses and professionals. Good luck!
A very unhappy tenant RN.

I was placed here as a medical travelor as well and continued my lease efter my contract with the hospital ended. After my lease was over they wanted to fine me for "old & stained" carpet and I rebelled. I lied and told them my father was a lawyer and I was going to fight the charge. I commented on here and soon after they droped all the charges.
I agree that all or any medical recruiters need to not place their clients in this facility.
