we are moving from these apartments this week after having lived here for a year. In my opinion, there are positives and negatives to living here.
From my experience, the rental office staff is ok. maintenance showed up within a few hours after i reported anything to be fixed. the white guy with the white hair is rude and unfriendly, but the hispanic guy is very nice. Have had multiple problems with the toilet overflowing.
Once the sales staff had to show our place to a prospective buyer one morning. My boyfriend and I came home late in the afternoon from work to find all our lights had been left on!!!!!
Parking is not as bad as it used to be, but i'm sure that it once again will be a problem if and when they sell the rest of the apartments.
I've felt relatively safe at night, but the complex could be better lit.
A few months after we moved in, they took away the community computer, so that they could convert the clubhouse into the "Sales Center".
The front gates are broken. And when they're not, my remote has not worked on several occasions; i've had to have the office change my remote 3 times because of this.
Roaches and sugar ants are a HUGE problem here.
I wish that I had known about the OUC rip-off before I moved here. For our small 1-bedroom apt. we have been paying a mandatory $30 EACH MONTH for the "City of Orlando sewer fee", which is automatically added to the electricity bill.

I do not believe these "condos" are worth the money.
