Before I get started I want to express that the staff at the complex is great. The office staff is very nice and the maintenance crew is amazing. Overall though, it is okay. It is what it is for cheap rent in Orlando without living in low income. You start the application with everything "By the book", supposedly... During the process they ask for everything other then your unborn child's name and keep you coming back and forth to the office with more information which is tough to do when you work everyday. Once approved to move in I came in to sign the lease and get everything ready 3 days early. 2 days before move-in, while I was working I received a phone message late in the day that said we need you to call back so we can speak to you (no explanation). By the time I got the message, they were closed. The next day I had gone to work before they opened about an hour away. I receive a call stating that there is a leak and they would have to move us to a new apartment and sign a new lease. I was okay at this point and offered to fax the new lease but no matter what option I offered it was turned down. This wasn't good enough, on one of my busiest days at work they wanted me to leave to get it notarized. It's interesting because I thought that in general customer service when you mess up you fix it. I had friends coming to help move and a truck ready but of course they didn't care because they go "by the book". This is chapter 1. I want to remind you that once your are moved in the staff is great, just poorly managed by the manager. The office staff is very friendly, the maintenance crew is amazing and surrounding neighbors are great.

The newest issue is the renovations they have done on the apartment. They are basically looking to get you in here with some fresh paint. about 3 months ago they started by cutting everyones screens on their porch, the one issue it that your bedroom window has no screen because it is in the porch. Now that it's cool it would be nice to open up the windows but it is not possible. Overall it is just very irritating, it should be fixed by now. If I left the apartment when the lease was up and said well i'll clean it when I feel like it they would be pretty mad too.

So the Broadwater is okay, the parking is fine, there's no noise, the grounds are nice, constructing is okay besides the screen, maintenance is great, the staff is great but management fails to deal with situations and deserves zero stars in my book.

I'm okay with the staff and work in customer service myself and believe that the office staff should not take the heat for bad management. That's basically what I meant by that.
