We leased at Camden Lago Vista b/c it was a new property and we we transferring from another Camden property in Charlotte, NC.

Management staff was rather unfriendly and not helpful. We had some problems moving in and they were not very apologetic.

We were the first occupants in our unit and they had not flushed our pipes. When we turned the water on it smelled horribly of sulphur. SO much so that I almost threw up. So after moving in on a Sunday night we could not shower b/c of the stench. I went to the office when it opened Monday morning and they told me that I just needed to run the water longer! And when they told me, it was like they thought I was some kind of moron! ALso, the apartment had not been vacuumed. The agent who supposedly did our pre-move inspection apologized for not having had the apartment cleaned.

We also had really bad problems with spiders. When we complained to the office they once again talked down to me as if I were a moron. Didn't I know that they had cleared out a wooded area and that spiders would probably be hanging around there for a year or two b/c their original habitat was destroyed' Well, I guess not being a spider expert I DIDN'T know that.

Dog owners did not clean up after their dogs.

Thankfully my husband got a job in Tampa and we broke our lease to move. We did NOT go to another Camdne property!
