I leased at CLV for 2 years and it was nothing but problems. Their billing/accounting is AWFUL. I was twice faulted for late rent payments when I knew full and well that I had paid on time. I was also double-billed for a pet fee that they claim I never paid, despite having shown proof in the form of a canceled check. The management and staff are unpleasant and slow to act on matters of urgency. The PARKING situation is atrocious - worse than the WORST mall parking lot at the peak of holiday shopping... And to add insult to injury, they forced residents to PAY for the inadequate parking to purchase a decal and threatened to tow or boot overnight guests who didn't pre-register their cars. We got out as quickly as we could... BUT WAIT... the saga continues... TODAY - a full 11 months AFTER we vacated - I received a letter from collections saying that I owe a debt to CLV. The management has had my phone number, the number of my spouse, and our forwarding address on file for 11 months and this is the FIRST that I hear of a debt. There's no explanation, either, so I have no idea whether this claim is legitimate or not. Rest assured, I'm not going to bend over and take it from these crooks, and I advise any prospective renter to GO ELSEWHERE.
