When I moved in 2 years ago, I was in love with my apartment. The manager at the time was wonderful, and I had no complaints. Since then, the managment has changed and new people have moved in... there are fights, police searches, drunks on my poarch, drugs, and TONS of non - resident traffic next to my apartment all of the time. Random people who don't live there just sit on my poarch in the middle of the day. My car has been broken into, and managment's response was "oh...that is bad." The Orlando police were more helpful.

My a/c - heater has never worked correctly. I have to call someone to wet-vacume out the inside drip tray once a month. (most a/c's have a little drain that sends the excess water out of the house..) My oven's heating element caught fire because it was so old it had exposed wires; I was told "oh this happens all the time." Managment is now very disorganized, the staff has messed up both of my leases to the point I had to call their district manager with the threat of a lawyer to figure it out. They have a bizzare renewal policy which kinda traps you into renewing. They also come up with some excuse (fire inspection, maintence inspection, annual inspection) to come in and look at your apartment about every other month. The part I really detest is that there is no visitor parking - I'm supposed to call them and register any guests that are there late at night. They want the name, phone number, tag #, VIN, and expected duration of any person there at night. (it's not helping the crime, and it's really NO ONE's business when my boyfriend is over for the evening.)

For the amount I'm paying, it's just not worth it. I had a 2 bedroom with boat access for less than this, and it had WAY fewer problems. I avoid the staff because they are so busy trying to plan cutesy holiday decorations they can't fill out paperwork properly.

I disagree with this. I think it is a good place to live for a reasonable price.
