Apparently this was THE place to live 10 or 15 years ago. The apartments themselves are adorable and spacious, and the single-story design is great. So much potential.

The leasing office and maintenance crew are very nice and helpful.

The apartments have absolutely no sound or energy insulation. Thay have LOTS of windows, which makes for great lighting and really high electric bills (average $100 in winter, $160 in summer for a 1 bedroom!) Plus, the A/C doesn't reach into our bedroom so we have to use a big fan so we don't suffocate at night. Because of all the windows, you hear every little thing going on outside (and believe me, there is a LOT of outside activity here, like auto repair and street hockey.)

However, most of our problems with this complex can be attributed to the less-than-desirable neighborhood. Let's face it, we live in the ghetto. Plus, the front and back entrances are french-door style, so we don't exactly feel secure. Forget using the pool, it wouldn't be worth it.

I'm graduating from college on the 30th, and we're moving out on the 1st. If we could have afforded something better any sooner, we would have moved long ago. However, if a spacious apartment for a low price is high priority, it's worth a shot. Just remember what I said about the high electic bills.....

ghetto. !!! you don't know hwat the ghetto is.. there are large apartments w/ huge windows, old yes, need work , sure.. but look for this apartment type thats new and you won't get1100 sf for 750.00... some people complain about everything.. the manager does not like to repair anything so she don't spend $$.. but these apartments are a great value..so i'll fix it myself
