I moved into Dover Village Apartments in 2004. I was excited about the townhouse style. The maintenance department was excellent when I first moved in. The office staff was horrible.
I was in the apartments for 2 months before the hurricanes hit. The apartment was flooded and severe damage to the apartment. They did not fix anything. I had to move and did not get back any of my security deposit. I moved out on the 27th of August and the apartment was rented to another family only 3 days later. But they charged me 3 months worth of rent for breaking the lease. Now I have an amount of $3900 on my credit report and I cant rent an apartment anywhere else. They kept my $900 security deposit and said I caused damage (how could they have rented it so quick, if I caused damage') and 3 months rent.

Please beware of this scam.
