The first time we went for a look in Baldwin park, Madeline, one of the sale agents told us that this unit is the last unit they have available, and we better sign the contranct right that minute, she asured us that the whole deposit 350$ was refundable except for the 75 $ application fee. We were fooled and signed hte contract, next day out of curosity, I called and they had their next last unit available and since I asked for 2 apartment "oh yes we do" lying after lying.
Unfortunately the sale of my house did not go trough bc of buyer mortgage application failed and I could not move, so I asked for my deposit, you are right, they did not give any thng back and stated that it was only refoundable for 72 hours! minor details! I even offered to save the deposit for a later move in date and they rejected, such crooks. I will never go back and never trust them.
