Like others have mentioned the loft syle apartments are not soundproofed. I live next to a college student who thinks he still lives in a dorm. He likes to have parties and I had to call the police a few weeks ago. He also freqeuently comes home at 1:00 or 2:00 AM yelling and screaming. There are a lot of college students living here so if you want peace and quiet beware. The office staff in not helpful and merely says call the police.
Otherwise Baldwin Park is a great place to live. Nice restaurants with more on the way. Great jogging and walking trails.
