when we first moved into our apartment on meeting place the apartments were owned by Centergate. The staff was contradicting to each other and didn't seem to have everything together. Later when the complex was bought out by post all the residence were given a collections notice on a water bill that centergate had never paid. (our water was included in our monthly rent) Instead of post paying the bill all of the tenants were expected to pick up the tab. I called the collections and raised hell with them and was released from my financial obligation to pay this bill. As far as the actual loft apartment. It was the worst place I have ever lived. You do not notice all of the horrible things until you get moved in. The sounds is horrible. You can hear a pin drop from anywhere in the apartment. There is very little closet space. The master bedroom is a joke. The linen closet and master closet are very very small. The towel bars in our unit were installed wrong and would always fall off the walls, the drawers in our bathroom were also installed wrong. The granite top on our bathroom was not sealed properly and would spot when water got on it. The office staff was very rude to me on several occasions when I was dropping off my check for rent. They would ignore that fact that I was even standing there for up to 20 minutes. I resigned a lease after my year was up because we had a baby the month before our lease was up and a move just seemed like to much. We tried to go on a month to month basis but they were going to charge the base rent of 1780 plus $100 dollars extra a per month to be on a month to month basis. Our previous year was only 1460 a month. This was with a prorated deal they had going on at the time. (two months free or two month prorated) When the month to month thing didn't work out we were forced to sign a seven month lease in which they charge us 1620 a month. They made us think that we were getting a deal and they were being kind to reinstate a discounted rate for us. Two days after we signed I was looking on craigslist.com and saw that they were advertising our exact apartment for 1525 a month. Every time it rains there are pools of water that are about 3 inches deep that are at the bottom of every stairwell.

I also lived at Centergate while the transition was to Post was made. Although it was frustrating to have to pay the water bill we received after the transition, water WAS NOT supposed to have been included while our lease was under Centergate. We were billed for water that we were supposed to have paid. Not sure where you got that information as the leasing information received from Centergate clearly stated that we were responsible for water.
