While I was attending UCF I lived at these apartments. I experienced many incidents.

(1) First of all they give the keys to your apartment to the pest control person and they allow them to enter your apartment unsupervised. On one occasion I was in my apartment and did not answer the door when he came knocking. I stood in my closet with the light off, he did not know I was there and he just dropped off the slip on my kitchen counter and left... DIDN'T EVEN SPRAY MY APARTMENT. When I called down to the office, I was insulted by the property manager when I was furious that they give our keys to total stranger who can very easily rob you blind.

(2) Secondly, I had to break my lease early due to a pregnancy and losing my job. I was told that there would be no problem making payments of the fees I incurred due to breaking the lease. I was lied to and they send all correspondances regarding that to my previous address instead of the address I had given them and they contacted my co-signer and threatned to list on his credit my balance and he had to pay in full immediately, instead of the payment plan I had arranged with them.

(3) The maintenance was a joke. During the winter months I could not even turn on my heater because it would set off the smoke detector. They did nothing to correct the problem and the 2 winters I spent there.. I had to bundle up to keep warm. Plus, on the day I moved in the apartment wasn't even ready and I had to deal with a leaky and running toilet for the first 2 months of my lease.
