The review posted below by "anonymous" clearly isn't a factual statement. I have lived here for almost a year. I have never once been behind in rent and can give you an honest and open opinion about this property. I am not afraid to be identified and haveno reason to mislead anyone. I want you to get the best value for your money. Understand, all apartment complexes have their issues. First great thing about the property is their floor plans. They differ from current apartement floor plans and originally that is what attracted me to the place. The management has changed 2 times since I have been here and currently Joey or Joesph is currently the property manager. I definetly believe that he has some opportuinities to improve the property that he hasn't taken advantage of. He seems it keeps taking garbage cans off the property and then getting upset when there is trash all over the property. Granted it is not the properties responsibility to clean up after their renters but to keep taking things away to make more work for the already lazy maintenance crew. That brings up another topic. The new staff is nice but definetly not consistant. They are quick to present you with notices to comply or even ficticious 3 day notices as their front office manager who applies your check to your rent overlooks and applies yours to the incorrect one. Granted Joesph was very kind in dealing with that situation giving me a credit on my rent in an undisclosed amount. I was able to express my opinion to Joesph and explain this is a place we call home. To give someone who pays their rent on time everytime a three day notice prior to calling to see if they perhaps made a mistake, because of course its always the irresponsible tenants fault. He explained kindly that it was a business. I agreed and still feel that if you contiue doing business in this fashion it will not benefit your property. Courtesy calls would be a great way to make your residents feel you care about them. Thought time consuming when you spend 700 dollars to rent a place per month I think that it is a small gesture of care to the resident. Second the maintenance requests tend to take forever. I have had water leaking under my kitchen sink for more then one month. I went to the office to explain to them the issue and at that point didn't get any service for two to three weeks. I have pets and asked them to call me before they came in and no call. So, I come home one night and there was a notice on my door stating to call and make an appointment. Why' Just tell me when your coming and I will accomodate you. No one ever showed up. Recently, I called the front office and asked to set up an appointment and was told that I couldn't do that the maintenance paperwork was already submitted. I said any idea when it will get done' She stated that they would get to it as soon as possible. Here it is the end of 72 hours of notifying them and no one has made an attempt to fix this horrid and damaging leak. This has never been the properties strong point. Hopefully I won't have to repeat my call to the location to remind them that I need it fixed. Currently a large pan is under there and I hope that I catch it before it over flows. Thirdly I live near the back of the location right by the security officer. He is very kind but the complex doesn't abide by sound ordinance and several people after the hours of midnight blast music and nothing is done. I know there is a resident that lives on the side of my building that screams at someone on the phone daily and has had the cops called on them several times yet they are still allowed to maintain there residence' The courtesy office is kind and does ride through the community every night so I do feel safer with him here. The most annoying thing is the back gate to our community. Since the take over by Joesph's staff there has been a huge inconsistancy in the opening and closing the back gate. Some days it doesn't even get opened. If they are so concerned about the community safety then they need to be more proactive in setting an opening and closing time and do it every day at those times. It is extremely upsetting when a notice is sent out stating things about safety and then there are nights that they don't even close it. I believe Joseph and his staff really want to do a good job but as you can see they are falling incredibly short. If your looking into moving here then consider that there are some positives but currently and for my year here most things are not up to par. The management staff has become more informative and attempts to help but I think it is time for them to step up. I won't be scared and put by anonymus because I believe they truely have the power to correct most of these situations and the complex is truely beautiful and floor plans are different so come check them out just note my above concerns. They could be resolved by the time you move in.
