Yes it is a little ghetto but I never had a problem. Sometimes the music blares regaeton but as a student studying it wasn't enough to interupt my concentration. Management SUCKS!!! Big time! Be prepared to lose security deposit or fight for it in writing. They tried to charge me $200 over. Added items to move out charge list after we walked through. After months of going back and forth we lost whole deposit and had to pay about $75 over. Rent is cheap, apartment is older but spacious. When you move in take pics of everything, that is my regret when it came down to security deposit. Apt had 2 fans, tried to charge me for cleaning 3!!! Dishwasher broke and they got a new one for us but that took 20 visits of trying to fix it. I lived there for 3 years and was never robbed or bothered. Pool is sucky and crowded but I never really had time to go anyway. Carpets were sealed with a fire resistant seal which was rough on my feet the first few months. Margarita in the office was a lazy -----!!! Served its purpose especially with a budget.
