I've lived here 2 years and have seen the worst forms of racism ever. If we have a Haitian manager, the complex gets loaded with Haitian tenents. If we have a Hispanic manager, the complex is loaded with Hispanic tenents. Seeing how management keeps jumping from haitian to hispanic and back again, it gets pretty ridiculous. The maintenance staff is always hung-over from drinking too much the night before.Ive been here for two years and have seen no improvement on any of the following....
1. calls for any repairs take a month if not longer. No repairs will be made without a threat to call code enforcement.
2. Apartments are roach infested and it seems as if the Orkin man only comes to make sure the roaches are well fed.
3. The swimming pool is poorly maintained. The one time i decided to go, there were diapers floating in the pool and beer bottles laying about. Funny enough, the maintenance guy and his friends were there the night before dinking and partying up for memorial day.
4. Assigned parking spots are a total joke. You have to pray that no one visiting your neighbors is parked in your spot, because if you ask them to move their car, it will almost certainly wind up in a fight.
5. Timber Scan apartments is right next door. This is the worst, most drug infested apartment complex in the neighborhood, and the fence seperating their homes from ours is torn down, allowing anyone from there to come steal our belongings..... and this happens quite often.
6. walls are made of paper and the slightest ding will leave your wall with gaping holes which of course the maintenance team is too "busy" to fix.
7. Tenants apparently need a lesson on how to drop their trash in the dumpster. They do a great job in piling their trash all around the vicinity of the dumpster, but the dumpster itself appears sacred seeing how the trash never quite makes it in there.
8. The supposed courtesy officer who supposedly does security at night is never around, and when he is, he treats tenants like if we are his children and he is the abusive alcoholic father. But if the tenants are black, there is no problem with them making noise at all hours and hanging out in the street.
9. The "basketball court" is really a driveway where cars drive through to get to their homes.
10. My "third" bedroom that i'm paying an arm and a leg for is actually the dining room. All they did was put up a wall and a door To make this space that can barely fit a dining table into a bedroom. It is more of a walk-in closet than anything.
