When I first moved into this apartment complex, I was excited and thought I made a good decision moving here. After all it was my first apartment. The way these apartments are built..it does seem like a nice place to live. Well just after a few weeks of living here I noticed I have noisy neighbors that live on the second floor. Every night its constant noise. Its like they are moving their furniture around every night and it seems like the furniture is too heavy and they just drop it on the floor. I don't know if thats whats going on in their apartment..I'm just trying to get you to visualize the noise I hear all the time. Just loud thumping and banging noise and its not like its just during the day. This is at midnight or 1 in the morning. You also hear them stomping up and down the stairs which is annoying as well because its at night time too.
The walls are also very thin. I'm scared to talk sometimes because I don't know if the person next door or on top of me can hear my conversations. I can hear them closing their cabinet doors and talking when their in the bathroom or in their bedroom.
I can deal with the noisy neighbors and thin walls, but I can't deal with my next issue I'm also going to share. I moved in a couple of months ago and I haven't experienced ROACHES. When I moved in I saw the nasty clear bugs that are always on the walls, but hey its Florida. Which I'm not used to because I'm not from here and won't be here much longer. But anyway I always keep my apartment clean. I clean my kitchen more than once a day. But all of a sudden a few weeks ago I started noticing roaches crawling on my counters next to my sink and next to the stove. Which I don't understand because they weren't here when I moved in. It first started out as one I would see a day..now it turned into seeing more than 3 or 4 a day and thats gross. Never did I want to live in an apartment with roaches..who would' The worst thing about it is that they are mainly in my kitchen...crawling on my son's food and my food in the cabinets. I've sprayed the insect spray that is supposed to keep them away for up to 9 months. But it seems like more of them are coming out of the woodwork..mostly at night time. I can't stand it. Pest control came and sprayed as well and they still came out later on that day. Now I have to bomb the apartment for the next few weeks. Who wants to live like that' I'm at the point that I can't wait to move out but thats at the end of the year. I want to move out NOW!!! I just found out the other day that another building is infested with roaches..in all the apartments. Can you imagine that'
Lastly, maintenance is okay. You just wish they would respond to your requests quicker. The men are nice..its just them getting to your apartment thats the problem. I guess with all my complaints..NO I don't recommend anyone moving here. I don't know if I'm the only one having a bad experience..but if your a person that doesn't want to live in an apartment with thin walls, possibility of noisy neighbors, and ROACHES..then I suggest to look the other way.

If you would like to come to the office and share your concerns, we would be more than happy to help you. There is a memo that we send when a neighbor may be disturbing or annoying others in an unacceptable manner. We also have professional pest control available every Friday if you are interested in getting on the lease. We would like to make your stay here more enjoyable. Thank you. East Lake Management.
