Unfortunately, my complaints isn't so much about the complex, because it was well kept. For the most part it was safe, although there were a few break ins but not very common, they are scam artists though. When we first moved in, your wowed by the low rates, then you find out, that you virtually pay for everything that you need to survive in there. The rate that you pay is basically for the apartment and that's it. Everything else is tacked on, and your once affordable rent has you scratching your head. Your water is separate, and since appliances don't run on mere electricity, you have to pay for gas, to run your stove, your dishwasher, washer/dryer and the water or else you'll be taking very cold showers! If you have washer/dryers that are electric, you are out of gas....literally! So either you go to the laundromat or you rent their washer/dryers that are already in the apartment and that is an extra $40.00. If you want cable, that is an extra $60.00, your water bill, generally stays the same, that is added into the rent as well along with all the other costs. The walls are thin, you basically here everything going on above or underneath you and next to you I might add, because we experienced all of the above. They raised our rent two times in a year and a half of being there. And when we finally couldn't take it anymore, because it was no longer affordable, we broke the lease, and let me tell you.....DON"T DO IT, IT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE! I made sure that the place was spicky span clean, carpets washed, walls cleaned, bathrooms impeccable, except for two light bulbs in one of the bathrooms, and a bulb in the master bedroom, and a light fixture that needed to be replaced. They had the nerve to say that we left the place in a mess......total B.S.....Not only did they take the $700.00 deposit, they had the nerve to take on an additional 600.00 for things they "supposedly" had to fix. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF BLIND! AND I WILL TELL IT TO ANYBODY WHO WILL HEAR ME! ANYTHING RAN BY CONCORD MANAGEMENT STEER CLEAR OF THEM. THEY ABSOLUTELY SUCK! MODERN DAY THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!! x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

I agree with CONCORD APT being THIEVES, they are my rent when up after only living there three months. They got me in with all this good talk about move in specials and get it now at this rate and that rate but, the rate changes after three months. I have a lease that says a discount for 12 months and then they send me a letter that my rent increased after three months. They feed me this billshit about its because they are GOVERNMENT apt. supposed to be for low income, well why am i paying 900 dollars when I can being paying that in apartments that claim they are not low income and have all of these rules and regualtions. SO they say the BASE RENT is 7 something and then you ad the washer and dryer and the cable and the water that is all included in your rent due at the first of the month. All of that added on comes to about 900 dollars. Then you have your gas bill and the lights are all seperate. How are these LOW INCOME(special finance) apartments when they add all of this stuff and they can raise your rent at anytime. They suck and I wish they would all just stop Lying to potential tenants. If you are a future tenant you should get info from someone who lives there first they will tell you the real deal and not -------- you like the people in the office do!

I dont find them a rip off at all. So far any maintenence issues I have had have been taken care immediately. For the people complaining about the cable and washer and dryer. It is your choice. I could have brought my electric washer and dryer in but I had to get renters insurance. So I figured either I pay the extra $45 month to them or to someone else. And if it breaks guess what I don't pay a dime to fix it. Cable is totally not a must in these financial times. So anyone complaining about it obviously didnt need it in the first place. The walls are not paper thin. We got neighbors above us and didnt even know they moved in until they came down and apologized for any noice they made. It is true that they adjust the rent according to the Florida State Standards. My rent just went down $4 because the standard rent was lowered. Get over yourselves people!
