The Fountains at Waterford Lakes APPEARS nice from the outside, but when you move in you instantly realize the MISTAKE you made by moving in. The "security" gate was broken about 80% of the time we lived there. They have no type of security on staff, despite their high crime rates and they take days to fix the pointless security gate. For the 9 months we lived there, we had a total of 8 notices of crime in the area - including break-ins, sexual assault and car theft. We never felt safe living there and after talking with other people learned quickly its a constant problem at this apartment complex. Their sprinklers are always broken and they never bother to fix them. They used recycled water, so every night you get the wonderful scent of poo washing you as you walk into your apartment. Their staff is not friendly at all. The quality of their appliances is very cheap. Numerous times I had to have maintenance fix the refrigerator or tub. I also had a constant problem with bugs - particulary silver fish while I lived there.
I highly recommend you DO NOT MOVE here. What appears to be nice on the outside at first, will quickly be a HUGE REGRET.
