Going downhill quickly

I've been here for quite a few years now, and this is not now the same place I moved into. The previous comments regarding the Grand Reserve being subsidized appear spot-on - I've not seen any actual proof of it, but the clientele has steadily become worse and worse over the years, and I feel it's misleading to refer to these as "luxury apartments" - compare the Grand Reserve to a place like the Alexan at Metro West and then try to tell me they're equivalent. I'm not impressed in the least with the management - noise around the pool area late at night is a chronic problem that they appear to not care about. I was told there's nothing they can do to control it - the lease states the pool area is closed after 10pm, so start evicting people if they can't abide by the lease, for crying out loud. According to the nightly answering service, there is a "courtesy officer" who gets paged in the event of noise problems at night, but would it not make more sense to have this individual preventing problems in the first place' There have been a couple of incidents of vandalism over the past couple of years, which was never a problem during my early years at the complex. Finally, as some have mentioned, parking can really be a hit-or-miss proposition - about 3-4 times a month, I get home late and end up having to park far from my unit because of a lack of nearby spaces, the remainder being occupied by unfamiliar cars.
In general, I can't recommend this place, and I can't wait to get out of here - my distate of moving is the only thing that's kept me here for this long, and my patience has finally worn through. In my opinion, the problems are so obvious to anyone that has lived her for any length of time that I have to believe those folks writing the really rosy reviews are connected with Cambridge in some way.
