I moved here in August and have regretted my decision ever since. It all started before I even moved in. They rented me a particular apartment, but called a month before my move in date and told me it was no longer available. I had put down my deposit but I guess that didn't matter. They did find another apt. for me, but the day before...DAY before I was supposed to move in, they called to tell me they were raising my rent. I hadn't even moved in yet!!! I threatened to have my lawyer call them because I already had a signed agreement on their letterhead. That worked and I didn't have a higher rent. I was told there was sound proofing between apts. but now know this is a lie because they had to open my wall due to hurricane damage. There is only plywood and a thin sheet of drywall bewteen apts. It is very noisy and managment does nothing about the complaints. Also, I was told basic cable and valet trash were included. Neither is included. Interesting to note that they only started charging me for trash service 2 months after I moved in. I still have a long way to go before my lease is up, but I'm thinking of getting out. I cannot stand living in this noisy dump full of rude people. Don't move into these "luxury" a.k.a. dump apts.
