Who has seen the "Money Pit"'

Since moving in April, I wonder why I left Lake Mary. I have yet to determine the skill level of the management staff, however, it may appear that a six-year-old could manage a lemonade stand more productively. Things promised, for example, a washer/dryer turned up 5 months later, which made it hard to do laundry considering the on-site laundry facility was always in need of repair. We cancelled cable since the so-called "no name" cable company kept having problems with cable going out.
We had a car broken into 3 months after arriving here, and when we alerted the staff they could have cared less. The second month we were here our neighbors were broken into. One Sunday morning in december I stepped out to get a paper and wittnessed my other neighbor getting arrested at 9:00am.
Happy Sunday. I quite contend that the police and fire depts are always here, that does not exactly make me feel safe. Not to mention that they gate is always broken, I think they do not take care of the situation deliberately. However, the main side of the complex never seems to have a gate on the gound, do they now' Hint: in the future please invest in cast iron gates. This way all of those unwelcomed visitors who don't think of jumping the fence can't come in.
Children seem to multiply here quicker than rabbits. I always seem to have one in the way while driving around the complex. There have been countless evenings when I have gone to bed only to be awakened by loud people. One particular evening we watched what appeared to be a domestic dispute, however instead of fighting in the apartment, they decided it would be fun to use their cars to chase each other around, while their daughter was outside watching.
One time while walking back from the hot tub, I was stopped by a policeman, who was holding an assult rifle, asking me if I had seen a certain person. I decided it was time to go in and lock the doors.
They think the ultimate solution is to give a 7 day notice for everything. I have given up thinking about what will be next. We wonder if the complex might be in financial difficulty since they no longer advertise in the apartment guide.
Overall the management staff sucks, the grounds are kept horribly, and we have had numerous problems including ants, a broken air conditioner, a broken fridge, and many, many more things that would literally fill this page. Not to mention there has been a fride outside our apartment for a month now.
I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for apartment home living. I will be glad to move from here in a few long months.
