It's a good place to live.

All apartments have their faults. I have lived in many throughout the States. However, from the moment I arrived here I was graciously welcomed and made to feel at home even prior to the official approval of my lease. I was an inconvenience arriving at 5:30 in the evening, panic stricken that my lease was up in Fernandina Beach and as of the next day I would be homeless. The office staff has been nothing but prompt and accomodating. The grounds are well kept and there is always someone available to answer questions or assist with minor repairs. Activities are organized for the residents so that people have an opportunity to "meet and greet" if they so desire. I live in the west part of the village. The neighbors in my building are either young professionals or families. There has only been one party where I could hear people through the walls in the 6 months that I have lived here. I haven't found anyhting in Orlando for under $900 that wasn't a total dump. Basically, this is a normal everyday apartment, with some great perks like pools, tennis courts, a 24 hr. gym, and free wi-fi. Alot of the complaints I'm reading seem typical of those looking for perfection. If you need total privacy or aren't interested in living in close proximity to those with children then you may find apartment living in general too difficult. I drive a nice car that has never been broken into. I lived in a gated community some years back and my car was broken into three times. There has only been one incident of crime that I am aware of which involved the main office and was handled tactfully by the administration. I highly recommend the Reserve, especially to people from out of town who would like an easy transition. I-4 is right down the road, and I can be in downtown Orlando in 15 minutes or New Smyrna beach in 45 minutes. If you see I-4 is packed with traffic, Maitland Bvld. always moves pretty well. The international airport is 35 minutes away. The apartments are spacious and some have a view of the pond. They show you what's available, you pick the one you want, and you can be in within a few days. I came here from a beach community and I was pretty choosy in my search for an apartment.

Chances are, this review was written by a staff member, manager or the developer who owns the property. Sounds like an informercial. All they need now is Eric Estrada. If not linked to the Reserve, this person may be legitimate but likely wasn't robbed or had their vehicle stolen like we did and then have the management treat them poorly. Readers should ask why the majority of reviews, good or bad, are moderate and the user posts their identity but those posting excessive praise in every sentence just happen to post as "anonymous" users? Can you say E-M-P-L-O-Y-E-E-?

it looks like it is hard to make everyone happy!! as you can see the person who is ever GMS2000 is not happy or has a chip on there shoulder?? or who is not happpy in general in life!! I use to live there and have friends that do live there they love it!! Go live in the metro west area & see what that is all about!!!

I am author of this review...and no I'm not an employee. This person is obviously a curmudgeon. I feel bad for this person, and I hope that life improves for them in the future. I am actually a student, incase this person is interested in who I am. The new management here is way better than the old, from what I've heard about the old. I moved here from a small beach community, and I was afraid to move to Orlando and not be happy with where I lived. It has been a breath of fresh air living here. I highly recomend this place to anyone who wants to be happy with where they live. Maybe Mr. GMS2000 should move back...even HE won't be disappointed.
