I lived in Grove Park Apartments for about 9 months before I terminated my lease with them. These apartments are very nasty to say the least. On the outside they?re ok but live in one and you?ll see what I mean. The walls are paper thin because they?re so old. When it rained the inside of my apartment would get wet because the windows were so old the water would leak in. They don?t accept section 8 but you would never know that by the neighbors you?ll have. The walls on the inside of my apartment had been painted so sloppy that there were hairs of all kinds and colors half way painted and stuck on the walls. The carpets were all painted on. The drawers in the kitchen had roach eggs painted and stuck in them...Gross. The kitchen walls were full of grease before they were painted and you can imagine what that looked like, all you had to do was slightly rub on the wall and the paint and grease would rub off the walls were white with yellowish orange spots...nasty. And last but definately not least management was horrible. They were very unattentive and unorganized. They were also rude, unprofessional and in my opinion discriminative. If you want to live with these conditions then this would be a great place for you. Otherwise I advise you to take you family elsewhere. This place is truly a waste of money and horrible place to live. Oh and before i forget, they need to be renovated...BIG TIME!!!
