I agree with the negative reviews. As a resident of Grove Park, it's been impossible to maintain a professional relationship with the management here. Their incompetence is matched only by their extreme rudeness.

The place wasn't even ready for occupancy when I moved in. It was dirty and ill-maintained to say the least.

There was human hair all over the place, even painted into the walls and cabinets. Bathroom tiles and tub were painted over. The kitchen counter was roughly refinished with paint rather than formica. The spray from this "refinishing" was all over everything in the kitchen. The stove and dishwasher were covered with paint spatters. Dry, uncooked rice was also in evidence throughout the apartment. I've no idea why. I was told that Grove Park's crack cleaning crew had been in to make sure the place was all ready to go.

I couldn't plug anything in for several days upon moving in because the outlets wouldn't hold a plug. This isn't something you can easily check when they show you the model (which is in much better shape than the unit you'll end up with).

Add noisy neighbors, unruly kids, loud cars (boom cars with extremely loud bass in particular), bikers, and barking dogs to the mix, and you'll find yourself miserable living here in no time.

With the hurricane season fast approaching, I can only hope that this place holds up long enough for me to move out. Grove Park has made little to no effort to fix last year's hurricane damage.

Renter beware! Grove Park isn't worth it.
