This was a really bad experience, the maintenance people and staff constantly forgot and would loose repair notices. I had been in my apartment for 25 days before receiving the dips for the stove and the shower faucet in the master bath had been broken for 30 plus days before being fixed. The hot water heater died and it too them a week to replace it. The carpet is very cheap; it had lots of old stains and they said it is "professionally" cleaned that is why it is not replaced. All of these issues I pointed in my walk thru with the maintenance and staff person present. Okay, here is the kicker, the maintenance guy and the staff lady were still cleaning/fixing the apartment when I came to move in - that was a clue.

Yea, they also say that they replace the locks before you move in. Two of my neighbors didn't have new locks and neither did I.

that's true for me too! After I saw what looked like an old break-in or attempted break-in with my door being kicked in and off-center, when I moved in, and having an obviously spackled hole that looks remarkably like someone's head went through the wall, I demanded new locks.
