Well, Ive been here for about 2 months now. Where to get started.. Ok I'll do Good, Bad , and Get over it areas!
Bad:
Doesnt look too bad, Pool Area behind the office is a wreck, dont go into the bathrooms there. Mens: moldy, urinal is Black! lights hanging down from the ceiling. Ladies: Dirty ass floor, no toilet paper, sink is black, tile is broken in several places, spiders under the back lid in both restrooms.
My roomie is afraid to call the Maitnence man because he told her ONE week into moving in here that he loved her and had the money to take care of her financially for a few yrs if she would be with him, She had me go out and buy a chain to put on the door that day to have put up before she got home from class! Not to mention he put his arms around her while she was trying to fix the washing machine.
Cockroaches and Spiders are a HUGE problem, i mean these things are huge and no ammount of spraying does anything to get rid of them.
Our back porch has 3 MAJOR cracks all the way through and it looks as if it has shifted a little bit away from the building (kinda scares me seeing how i go out there to smoke and all)
They only allow you to get one kind of cable service here... Adelphia! IT SUCKS!
Good:
The best news is NEW OWNERS someone else bought Heather Glen so Im sure things will straighten up soon!Lots of parking, well lit,and sad to say thats all the good things I can think of.
Get Over it:
I read alot of other peopls complaints and warnings.. first thing everyone should realize this is a college area.. there are going to be Loud Cars, bikes, parties, drunks, and whatnot.. we r less than 2 minutes from UCF and about 10 minutes from FullSail.. what else do you expect from a college area' If you're a couple and settled down and wants a quiet life, dont get a place here.. not for you!
FYI : Prices on this site for this place are incorrect, they went up a bit after we got our lease here! So call and find out from them.
