Heritage on Millenia

I really like it here From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/31/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   Overall I'm very impressed with the place. It's not too noisy. I live on the 3rd floor and don't have anyone above me but I don't really ever hear any of my neighbors. My building is right off of Millenia Blvd so I hear road noise and the cows mooing across the street. The guy below me has a great sound system and sometimes I feel the bass from that. Parking is bad unless you get home before 6 pm. I'm usually home early enough but hate when I'm not. There have been times where I've had to lug my luggage or whatever pretty far from the nearest parking spot. The other thing that drives me insane is that other people will park where they aren't supposed to. They put towing stickers on them but nothing else happens. I was on the waiting list for a garage but decided that I couldn't justify the price. Right now neither one of the gates are working. That's been a problem lately. I enjoy being in a community that allows animals. I have a small dog and I try very hard to be a responsible owner. I clean up after my dog and try to keep her from barking excessively, things like that but not everyone does. There's always someone messing things up for the good ones. The front office is great. I've only had one issue with them regarding my water bill. I went out of town and had my mail stopped. It was supposed to be restarted the day I got back. I didn't get much mail but just figured that things were back to normal. A month later I get my held mail and my water bill was in it. I paid it immediately and then a few days later I got a nasty letter stating that if I didn't pay my bill within 7 days I'd be evicted and that I would be evicted if it happened again within a year's time. I was a little offended but got over it. There is crime in the area, and as stated before, the management is very good at letting the residents know what's going on. There have been a few incidents but I feel very safe walking around at night.
