Q: Do you know if River Park Apartments are owner operated or is there a management company'?
A: no they are privately owned and operated
Category: Apartment Communities, FL, Orlando, River Park Apartments
Q: is there still a bug problem
A: When I lived there, our kitchen was kept spotless and we put down baits AND that gel stuff ourselves, on top of having them come out and spray at least twice a month (WHEN they actually show up) and we STILL had a problem. Wash your dishes after you use them and BEFORE you use them or you could get sick from the germy little buggies waltzing all over the dishes in the cabinets. Also, if you see any of your neighbors moving out? Call right away to have them come and spray and buy another new pack of baits...you will see a surge in them for a few days when their food source from the neighbors is cut off.

Q: What can we do about the ever increasing rent??!!
A: It sucks, but the rent goes up cause of inflation. That has nothing to do with Chowder Bay in particular, all locations will raise rent periodically. I lived there 4 years and it never went up (1999 to 2003) and my place now goes up $20 every two years. Just depends I spose. I don't think there's legal action anyone can take for how a company prices their service/product unless, say, they are raising the rent of some people, but not others, etc.

Q: Why do you give everyone different rent amounts when the units are all the same sizes?
A: Well, I am assuming that they are greedy.
Category: Apartment Communities, FL, Orlando, Addison Place (formerly University Villas)
Q: do your rent rates include utilities?
A: No, You have your base rent(the rental amount plus cable and washer and dryer if you add it on, it's optional)then you have to include your water bill with your rent payment. All other utilities are seperate.
