I have lived here at Hiawassee Oaks Apartments for over two years and although I cant comment on what has been said about Marylyn Nieves It would not surprise me one bit. Now there is a completely new owner at Hiawassee Oaks Apartments and Needless to say they have reached an all time high for incompetence. I have had a recurring problem with a leak from my interior air conditioning unit. There is a puddle that seems to accumulate not only in two of my closets but in my hallway as well. Between my brother, my mom, and my self we have had to contact management over a dozen times on every incident that arises and still the incompetent maintenance guy(s) only seems to patch up the problem for only a month or two at best. To call these guys incompetent is an understatement to say the least. I have not yet mentioned the property damage that we have sustained due to the leak but it is substantial. If this does not sound bad enough listen to what is happening in the bathrooms. Its seems like only every other week the water pressure in the toilets go away which does not fully flush our bms. Management is supposed to call the septic tank company routinely to avoid such a problem but when I told about the problem they said that I have to inform them every time it happens which is unbelievable. As if my schedule isnt busy enough I also have to do their job too. Can you imagine having to endure your own bms for hours upon hours until the septic tank is flushed. No one should have to go through this. Over all I would say that these apartments are serious contenders for Orlandos worst apartment building. It seems to me that the owners solution to these problems is to simply continue to put different people in the office so that eventually we would get tired of explaining our problems to someone new every other week. Steer clear of this building unless you enjoy living in an apartment that falling apart and having maintenance men the rival the three stooges along with a management that could not care less.
