I just moved into Island Club and already want to leave. The place is a mess, used condoms on the ground, beer bottles everywhere and late night parties and noise. I work early in the morning and I'm kept up all hours of the night. I have complained to the leasing staff and the manager and they do nothing but tell me to call the police or security. Come on this is a gated community and they dont' have any responsiblity that is ridiculous. Then there is the gates themselves, I have almost been hit twice by people coming in the out gate, what is the sense of having gate cards if residents don't use them. I don't even feel safe here, the place is filled with low life and I mean low. I don't think the leasing agents do any back ground checks at all, whole families of 8 or 10 peopls living in one bedroom apartments. This place is located near metrowest you'd think they would represent the neighboorhood. Don't judge a book by it's cover in this case, take a look at this place in the day and night, and don't fall for the sales pitch or the made up model unit. The leasing agents and manager appear so friendly, nice and helpful but will pull a doctor Jekyl and Mr. Hyde on you after you sign the lease. They don't honor their promises, don't sign any back up paperwork and when confronted about it will say "do you have it in writing". Total liars on all accounts. Oh and then there is mainteance, what a joke, I have complained three times about mold building up in my laundry area, and have yet to see anyone to correct it. They are playing with my health and safety here, and boy don't try to leave early even with safety and health issues prompting you to because those liars with hit you with extreme charges. And from what I hear from other tenants will make up things to get more money out of your. At present I know of three former tenants that they didn't do final walk throughs with them present and have deliberately caused damages and then say you did it. These people are unbelievable crooks will stop at nothing for the all might buck. I have dealt with their district manager on the phone and she is just a real b***h!!! she has no concern about the complex, the lousy staffing or the disrepair of the units she is only concered with the all might dollar. If you are looking at this place don't you will regret it. Look else where as I'm having to get a lawyer to help me get the hell out of here. THIS PLACE IS A DUMP!!! I wouldn't let my worse enemy move here.
