I was an Island Club resident for one year and this place went hell fast. The previous management Capriet was lousy but then they sell the complex to this new company last December and it went straight to hell. The new property manager Michelle sent out notices saying that they had taken over and the improvements would be made. Well she left out the most important part that she is a -----, she lies and she steals. On more than one occasion I took over these notices the clearly weren't proof read, and point out mistakes but was told to just follow my lease, well the notices conterdicted the lease on many occasions. Then they tried to force me to pay late charges on rent payments when the cashed checks should that I had paid before the 1st of the month. The bookkeeper Melissa needs to go back to school or learn to operate a computer because she is dumb to try and put a 5 day notice on your door for being late when you have copies of checks that say you paid well before the 1st of each month. Another issue is the maintenance staff, what a bunch of ill trained idiots, takes them many tries to fix something, and then just getting them in to fix it is a challenge. Placing a maintenance call is like playing roulet, if you number comes up you win. The apartments are over priced for the condition they are in, refrigerators are old and break easily, there is mold in the laundry room and behind the airconditioning units and there is a serious ant problem so bring your own RAID with you. Now don't think Michelle will do anything to make the place better all she wants is your money. She will lie, and steal. And don't expect them to reimburse you for damages that she or her staff cause as she will find some illegal reason to get out of it. This place is overrun with thugs and low live scum, you will not be safe here nor will your property. You will be threatened, robbed and harrassed by both the management staff and the other low lives that live here. What ever you do, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!
