When I moved to the Orlando area and was looking for apartments, the first thing I looked for was office staff: Were they friendly, accomodating, would they answer my questions' So many in the area did not. It was the office staff that secured my decision to move here. I do not know who these ladies are that the previous reviews speak of; I guess they don't work here anymore. The current staff is extremely professional and very accomodating.

Maintenance usually comes pretty quickly. When we first moved in the water wasn't hooked up and we called them. We moved in Dec. 30, and they still came that night. On one occasion for a minor repair I had to call twice, but after the second call they came next day.

I live in the back of the complex, and I never have a problem with parking. There is always something around.

As far as the condition of the apartment; the building is far from new. I can tell that new paint was put up before we moved in. The kitchen is super outdated, and the oven is quite terrible with old, solid burners. It doesn't bother me as much, because I work in a restaurant and tend to eat there more often than not. The place is in surprisingly good condition for an apartment complex of its age. The gym could use some upgrading, but the tennis courts and the raquetball court are nice. And it is so difficult finding a reasonably priced apartment that has a washer and dryer in the unit.

There is one major issue: ants. I'm on the third floor, and I still have these little tiny ants all over the place. We keep the kitchen basically spotless and I've searched all over. Maintenance comes once a month and sprays, but that doesn't do much. We've kind of learned to live with them and control them, but they still drive me nuts.

Everything in this area is going condo. The few apartments remaining will raise prices, but this place is still cheaper than others. There is a really good demographic mix here. I see people in business suits and people in construction clothing coming home at night. While I don't know many people here, I'm on 'friendly nod' terms with all of my neighbors.

I'm sorry people have had bad experiences here. As I said, I really don't see where a lot of these complaints come from. It's one of the cheapest places in the area, and I feel pretty safe here. They're still working on getting the gate to work, but it's coming along slowly but surely.

Read all these reviews before choosing an apartment, but be sure to check the apartments out for yourself.

I find it so funny that folks think a building from the 80's is old! My current apartment has been here since 1974, and there is not a thing wrong with it. The kitchen appliances are wonderful, even though the brand is an older one I'd never heard of before. Who cares?? lol

My son just moved thee from Atlanta. Your review calmed someo of my fears - especially after reading the negative reviews. You are absolutely right about focusing in on the staff. The women who worked with him in applying and moving in were absolutely professional and accomodating beyond belief.
