I just discovered this site and wished I had before moving in in November of 2005 I would have known not to trust the office staff. Those ladies are crooks and I can prove it. Upon first visiting the complex I was impressed with most everything a few small problems but overall good. I signed a lease and paid for both the security deposit and a pet deposit even though I didn't have a puppy yet but I was assured that I would have to pay the monthly charge until I got the dog, it was even noted and signed on a typed addendum to my lease that I was in the process of getting a dog and that I would only pay once I had the dog. Well in March i purchased this cute little 9 month old Shih-zu puppy and fell in love with her. Sweetest and cutest dog I had ever seen. I took her over to the leasing office to let them know I now had a dog. Well this was the beginning of the lies and thievery. 2 weeks later I got a note on my door that said I was in violation of the lease and had to pay the pet deposit fee or get rid of the dog. Upset I took my copy of the lease and the cashed check to the leasing office to show them I had paid the fee. Okay well that didn't fix it 1 day later the same notice was on my door, this time I was very angry and spoke to the manager (what a -----) and she said that I needed to read the lease, of course I had it with me along with the copy of the cashed check and angrily told her that she needs to learn to read. I pointed on the signed addendum with her signature on it. Again thought this was taken care of, but to my surprise and horror I come home from work on April 3rd and my puppy was gone along with her cage. Almost in tears I looked around to see if I had been robbed but that wasn't the case. So hoping it wasn't what my mind was thinking it was, I walked over to the leasing office and asked to speak to the manager once again. This time I had her and the Maintenance supervisor in the room. I was nice and kept my composure until I was told they had taken the dog because I had been told (letters on my door) that I was in violtation of my lease for having a dog without paying the deposit. Well now I told her she was a lying ----- and to get out my file and look at the lease and the cashed check. Oh to her sudden amazement she found out that like I had told her before I had paid the fee. Now I told her I wanted my property returned and that I was pressing charges of theft on her. 1 hour later Officer Nothen and I went over to get my puppy back. Well needless to say I didn't get her back, after squirming and trying to lie Ms. ----- admitted that they had animal control come get her and don't have any further information as to where they took her. To this day I don't have her back nor have I been reimbursed for her and I didn't even get any apologies from anyone in that office and they are sending me letters saying I need to pay for the months my puppy lived with me. I can't believe anyone would do this. Well I will get my day in court as I have hired a lawyer and we are suing the complex, and the management company for the loss of the dog, and emotional distress. Before i'm done there will be a new managment company in this place or at lease a new manager. So if you are looking at this place DON'T!!!! They are thieves!!!!

As for this would you like to see the police report stupid. Seems the world is full of others opinions who know nothing but will just voice there opinion people like you need to be removed from this world. Find something better to do with you life then write comments on something you were not involved in -------!!!
