I'm a first time apartment renter. I have nothing to compare my experience too, but I am a young paranoided female college student and though the area has been known to be sketchy, I have had no problems. None with the office, residents, or general locals. The neighbors use their bass alittle to much on saturday and sunday mornings but you can't always have your cake and eat it too I suppose. Crime wise, i have a convertable and i've yet to have a torn apart top trying to get my ipod and cell phone which are commonly left in plane view. Most neighbors are kind and will give you the nod when you walk by(not creepy but friendly) and if you try after 10pm, your likely to get the pool and spa to yourself on week days, but not a parking spot haha. I've got a unit on the 3rd story over looking the lake, and i love it. Not to mention to me the built in entertainment center is conventient. Overall, i'm happy.
