I moved to Orlando to attend VCC...I must say after reading the comments on here I wasn't really sure about kirkman apartments. I did go in and take a tour of the property, I thought the models were beautiful, so i asked to see a regular empty apartment and I must say it was the exact same as the model, only no colored paint :-(..but they said I could paint. The price and special couldnt be beat, so I took the apartment also knowing I wouldnt have to drive far for school. I love my apartment and the women in the office are always nice and helpful...take it for what you want, but I think that its the company you keep that make the property, and who are we to judge someone else!!! We are all human people. I love kirkman and look forward to staying here until I buy a home.

Hello! In response to the above.. Allow me to introduce myself, I am the Community Manager. I am sure this person above knows (As we all do) the market has taken a huge downturn with the current economic crisis our country is suffering. Unemployment rates are up, housing markets are at an all time low and Kirkman is NO exception to these tough and difficult times. It is not vacancy rates that drive our pricing.. as with any community it is the surrounding market. Our clients satisfaction is extremely important to us and even with the current economic strains we all feel... we have not sacrificed any resident services.. as a matter of fact we have added quite a few. I urge this resident to please stop down and talk with me- I am happy to discuss anything I can do to make our community a wonderful place to live for all of us! I live here! I love it and I am always looking for ways to improve our services and our community! I ask that you become part of what makes this community better and not try to tear it down. We should take pride in where we live.

All the years I have lived here there has never been residents satisfied. This is why they dropped the price $200-$300 b/c many people moved out. This must me the new manager.The front office never show you an empty apartment because they know you will see old and out dated appliances. Sure you can paint with written permission from the manager. I have been here for two years and they never have allowed us to paint. This company is notorious for try to not give you back your deposit. Rent at your own risk. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To the the response to the manager below. Why should longterm renters who have been here discuss reducing rent their. Should you not have offered this to them and do you not see them every month ? Aren't the residents who have been living here going through the same economic hardship? My next door neighbor came to you and also spoke with the district manager and you offered $6. off their rent. After they pay over a $1000 and the neighbors across pay $700. You can discuss anything with anyone that you wish. This is the reason why I will NEVER advise anyone to reside here. By her responding to this review clearly explains that she was the person who wrote the positive review. Ask the manager why we do not have a gate. Check the crime stats in the neighborhood.

Moved in about 1 week ago- biased opinion. I found no problems with my apartment, it was clean, new carpet (BONUS!) and the lady at the office waited to sign my lease because i was traveling from out of town which i thought was nice. so far. i am happy with my decision to move here.
