I have been living in Kirkman Apts for 3 years and I feel this is my home; I have everything close to me: shopping centers, Valencia Community College, I am a student there. I love the pool and specially the fitness room; they have the rack ball area, where I play all the time and workout, they have a TV. CD Player, and the new manager put in hand towels and sanitizer, which I think it, was great. I also love walking around the lake, is nice and relaxing. Like I said before Kirkman has become my home and I don't see myself moving anytime soon.

Clearly this is the new manager posting this review. I too live here and it will be 3.5 years. The property has tremendously gone down hill. The new tenants that they have allowed in are paying $200-$300 less than the residents who are $900- $1200. The gate has never worked and the constant presence of police cars dealing with crimes in the apartments are scary. If you come home after 5pm, good luck on finding a parking spot. So what if the new manager put $2.00 hand sanitizer and dollar store towels in. Some of the equipment in the "fit-not" center are inoperable. BTY they have removed the water cooler to save on money. The level of service is absolutely poor. They used to have coffee in the office and removed it and explained that it was too expensive to provide it to the new and current residents. The office staff are rude and shftless. The quality of residents that are now residing has gone down. So, the type of people who are residing here are cursing in the breezway, litters and speed through the complex. During my three and half years there has been 6 trifling managers. I will move after completing my degree and look forward to that day. The residents have been inidated with noise from residents, feces from dogs not being picked up by their owners and trash in the breezways. I have had to call the corporate office due to the front office lack of repairs and overall bad customer service. My downstairs nieghbor was locked out of their unit and the front office refused to give them the key. (they have live here longer than me).Although they were on the lease. The pool is bombarded with unsupervised kids and children from other apartments. I cannot wait to move out. If I could have afforded to move out with two kids I would have a long time ago. This company and complex does not value it's residents and are very disrespectful too you.

Actually, I am the Manager. However, I did not post this review. I also live at Kirkman and love it! I have been here for 3 months. Since this post above is anonymous I am unable to contact you to review some of your concerns. I would love to invite you down to the office! Since I started 3 months ago I brought the coffee service back, I added towel services to the fitness center, a monthly newsletter, a resident sport equipment check out and a bunch of other great resident exclusive services! I would love to sit down with you and talk about your concerns and I am available anytime that is good for you. The police being on site is part of our neighborhood watch program which is another fabulous addition to our community! We invite you to become more involved by joining this program. For any questions contact Officer Johnson at 321-235-5300. He has all the information on our new neighborhood watch program here at Kirkman! I can assure you all of the fitness center equipment is in fact working and I have the monthly inspection report here at the office that I could review with you. We even recently replaced all of the lighting in the racquetball courts and repainted them! In regards to your rental rate, again I would love for you to stop down and discuss with me... I am sure the economic downturn is no secret to your television and newspaper. Clearly, with the downturn we are experiencing the housing market suffers as well. Certainly, this is something you can understand and this type of climate makes this market a "renters" market now and that is a benefit to you! It is just the same as a house: Anyone buying these days are getting a tremendous value as compared to 2 years ago. As I said, I am happy to be here as the new Manager- I love living here and I am hoping you will decide to stop down and discuss your concerns. If you do not let us know your concerns - some of our improvements may slip pass you- A couple of examples are the coffee service, our recent neighborhood watch and the fitness center equipment... So stop on down! I am here at your convenience!
