UGH!

You would imagine that this complex would be nice. It?s on a golf course, it looks nice, and is in a great part of town. Looks are deceiving.

First, the apartment complex is built by a nature preserve so you have all kinds of fuzzy animals that hang out. Like someone else mentioned, never throw your garbage away at night unless you want a bunch of racoons to jump at you. Also, careful when you walk your dogs. There are some evil possums that will sit there and hiss at your poor pet (and practically make you jump out of your skin). On top of it, racoons are constantly getting run over by a car at night and are left there in the morning for the school children to poke at it with a stick as they walk to the bus stop. Gross.

Don?t even get me started on the construction. The walls are paper thin. If your upstairs neighbors are watching a movie, you might as well just grab yourself a bowl of popcorn because you?ll end up hearing the whole thing.

I found out a month after moving in that I would have to be moved because my walls were rotting. Nice. Did Vintage pay for any of my move-out fees' Nope. Supposedly, they?re getting in a lot of trouble for that. I?ve heard rumors about lawyers getting involved in some residents? cases.

The only way to get from Vintage to any other part of town is to take Alafaya. This curvy, 2 lane road has got to be the worst road in all of the US. The worst is in the mornings when traffic gets backed up for 2 miles and you have school buses that stop every 6 feet. It?s no better at night. The speed limit is 55mph but for some reason people are too afraid to go above 30mph.

The experience would have been better had the apartment staff been decent. HA! Unfortunately, I can?t use the manager?s name since that would be breaking my terms of agreement with this website. So, I will refer to her as Satan. Satan walks around with her attitude about 10 feet in front of her at all times. Any polite request is greeted from her with a barage of arrogance and condescending attitude. She needs to go back to the trailer park where she came from.

You can obviously tell that the post about 2 down from this was written by management. I mean, come on, they rated the construction of this building 5 stars out of 5' Give me a break, whether or not the resident loves it or hates here, they all know how poorly built all the buildings are. How can you not' It?s always enjoyable to sit in the living room and look up at your ceiling to see mold and water stains.
On top of it, the gate that the residents pay for is never closed. I heard from a friend of mine that still lives there that a few months ago, during their attempt to fix the gate, the gate was programmed NOT to allow guests in. The neighborhood is HUGE (some residents live over a mile from the entrance). Guests had to wait until their friend drove all the way over to entrance to let them in. What an inconvenience.

The day I moved out was one of the best day of my life.
