I lived at Vintage on the Green for almost 2 years in a downstairs two bedroom apt. The complex was built so poorly that I heard the upstairs neighbors talking and walking constantly. I have lived in many apartments and understand that a certain level of noise is to be expected but Vintage proved to be the worst. The windows leaked water and grew mold. I had multiple areas where water was leaking inside the walls causing mold growth. The maintenance staff simply cleaned off the mold when I called, they did nothing to prevent the problem from reoccuring. I finally decided to leave after I awoke one morning and found that several nails had poked through my living room wall. I contacted the maintenance staff and they said that the frame had shifted causing the stud nails to push into the drywall. They seemed to take the matter seriously and said it would be delt with right away. Apparently the entire wall would have to be rebuilt leaving my apartment completely exposed to the environment!! I moved out about a month later, to my knowledge no work has begun on the wall. I would strongly recommend against moving to Vintage on the Green. Yes, it is on a preserve and is next to the golf course, but the poor construction and ineffective staff lend to sleepless nights, allergies, and an overall poor living environment. It is certainly not worth the money Vintage attempts to charge.
