mold is an issue

We were hesitant about moving in after reading reviews on here about the complex, but we only found this website about 2 weeks before we moved in and it was too late by then.
We had a very long list of items that needed to be fixed in our apartment when we moved in - including, but not limited to water damage. We were given one of the "newly renovated" apartments, but apparently they only did half the job in fixing the problem. We have mold growing on our baseboards, window sills, and now starting on our walls. Nothing has to been adressed on our list from our move-in because the staff is so occupied fixing the apartments from hurricane damage, which leads me to my next point. Our apartment was severly damaged by both Frances and Jeanne, mold is growing everywhere (where it was not growing before). It is horrible.
It is a pretty community, but the office staff is very ignorant of their own policies. Just in case they don't tell you, the front pool closes at dusk and the back one at 8pm, which is a little early in my opinion.
------- has gotten a lot of crap on this website, but I have to say we had a very pleasant experience with her - just treat her with the respect and kindness you want to be treated with.
Overall, I would not recommend this place to live in because they really need to get the moisture issue under control, it is a health hazard in my opinion.
