I have been a resident for 2 years now. The place and the service were good when I moved in. They have seen a high turnover and reduction of staff and the service now is poor and unprofessional, in my experience. The review guidelines are very specific about giving examples, so the latest:

1. During the last week, I and my wife called several times during office hours and always got answering service; I dropped by a few times and the leasing office is locked always.

2. We left messages with the answering service and they are not returned.

3. On the first occassion I actually saw them at work this week (8/1/2009), I asked for a copy of the lease agreement and to rent a garage and a storage space. They said "it'll be ready in 1 hour", "come back in the afternoon" etc. It was not ready even the next day.

4. The only other occassion I actually saw them at work this week was the next day (8/2/2009). I waited in front of a locked office for an hour during working hours. A staff member came in, took care of one person. Then a pair of her friends came in, so she kicked me out of the office, locked it and went away. Didn't even listen to what I needed. All she kept saying was "I need to go out and lock the office, please leave"

5. They have cut down on cleaning. Cigarette butts everywhere, including the hallways, dog poo on the sidewalks, ... slow decay.

I still like the place a little and moving is a hassle, but there are deals to be had in this economy and housing market. So, I've started tentatively looking.

This is regarding comment #4, my girlfriend and I were the couple that she was talking to. We are not her friends we were future residents waiting patiently to see a townhome. I saw you come in and just sit in the office and expected to be helped before all others, that is not how things work. Stephanie the leasing agent was very helpful, pleasant and kind. You were told you had to wait your turn and you got upset. I'm so sorry that you felt it was so important for you to bash La Palazza because Stephanie wasn't at your beck and call. Thanks, Anonymous

I do not know about the situation you are both talking about regarding Stephanie....but...the rest of the comments mentioned are right on track! Everything is going completely downhill at this complex!
