My husband and I moved here in Spet of last year and at first we loved it. The price was right and it was a good location for where we worked. However recently, things have changed for the worse.
1) In the past year, the flimsy gate has worked a total of 5 times. It is constantly in an upright position.
2) There are spider webs and bugs in the mail building, in the walkways, around the entry doors to the apartments and in and around the trash bins outside the apartments. We have noticed a few brown recluces in the trash bins and have asked the management to please dispose of them for safety reasons. To date, they have failed to do this.
3) We had a major ant infestation when we first moved in. We had to ask for the pest control company to come and deal with this issue 3 times before they were irradicated.
4) It takes days before the maintaince company to come and fix any problems. We had to go through three days of no A/C before someone finally came round to fix it.
5) Why do they charge you for any ware and tear on the carpet if they tear them out and replace them everytime someone moves out'
6) The staff were very friendly and helpful at first, but soon became very dismissive of us, especially if we had some issues that needed to be fixed.
7) We can hear the people above us and next to us. I expect to hear some activity from the neighbours when we live in an apartment, but not their toilets flushing and their dogs barking constantly at 2am.
8) Parking is a nightmare anytime after 7pm - 8pm. I don't finish work until 7pm and it takes me 40 mins to get home. I have to park a fair distance from my apartment. Again, it's to be expected to a degree when you live at an apartment, but this is crazy!
9) the location isn't great if you work in the City of Orlando area. Narcoossee Road is usually backed up a good mile - two miles in the morning as you get onto the 528. Obviously, this isn't the apartments fault, but it is something you should consider if you are planning to move here.
10) the crime rate is getting worse. There have been three motorcycle thefts in the past 5 months. I have heard that cars are being broken into, and some attempts to break into the apartments. I really don't think that even if the gates did work, they would make any difference as they are no more substantial than a toll gate.

It's a shame. this complex has the potential to be brilliant, but with the managements incompentancy, and lack of interest combined with the location, it's not a place that I would recommend. We are leaving at the end of this month; mainly to do with the fact that I work on the West side of town and what I have written above. we are looking forward to moving to our new apartment and we will not be looking back at Falcon Parc / Legends as we drive away.

This is a very accurate review. One note: even when the gate works (which is rare!), at least one car will trail you in without swiping a security card.

the gate issue, you will encounter in every property you rent with gates. I used to rent in Gates of Harbortown and they have an iron gate, happend all the time! Gates are just NOT a form of security, not that anyone nowdays is safe anywhere...
